When expecting a change, it won't come

Have you ever had the feeling of needing a change in your life? Guess what, me too every time!

Here I will explain to you from my experiences how it works. Wanting a change or expecting a change to come is not enough! Yes, you heard right, it is not enough!



Making a change is a process

If you want change something, you have to start to take steps to happen

Every single person in this world is supposed to have changes in their lives. Small, big but for sure. You know what? It is easy to have them. Yes, it is. You have to start to change your thinking instead of wanting a change to make the first step. I will give you an example of my life. I had a friend probably since elementary school, she was not an easy-going person but we were friends all the years even if the friendship became different as I moved so many times. She always wanted to change something but she never did. She wanted to drop off the few kilograms but she never wanted to make exercise at home. "She had no time". This was the answer. I tried many years to help her but her attitude remained the same. Well, this is not a way how to succeed.




Wanting to change something but not to change a single thing, is waste of time!



The change starts in your head, in your vision but followed by your actions.

There are so many people in this world who want to change something but they maybe don't know-how. How to get the knowledge? Well, the answer is simple. Start to make resources! Anywhere anytime. If you want to move abroad, start to check the possibilities for work, for apartments, for other conditions you need to have. Once you have started, the second step will be easier. Trust me. I went through this so many times! In the end, it will happen what you wish for.



Get started now!

Don't wait for the new day, week, month, or even New year! Do the step today, right now! Do what do you wish for. Make yourself a small plan of what do you would like to change and give yourself a timeline to see the process. For example, you wish to lose weight, start to write down the reason why you need this. Make some research on available eating habits you could follow. You don't have to start big, smaller steps, and patience is the key to success. Start with some exercise whether it would be at home or you pay yourself a short-term membership in the gym to see if it is for you. You always can change it. Important is you stick with something EVERY SINGLE DAY.



The success and the results come to those who stay consistent. Your mind has to say to your body, I can do it because I am strong and I will feel better after I did. It really requires a strong mind to proceed with permanent change. It is doable. Always! The feeling after you start to see the first results will push you forward to the next step. You know, I am very sporty since my early childhood, I was not consistent with a special type of sports activity but I always did some. This is important. Stay with it even if you will change for some reason. My life would not be possible without doing any type of exercise. As I discovered the benefits of it, I am consistent and resistant no matter what!



This is why wanting a change is not enough. Making one single step to start to see change is the way. Buy the ticket to the place you always wanted to go, finish the relationship with a toxic person who is not enriching your life anymore, educate yourself/ start to learn a new habit, new language, buy a new book, download that new podcast speaker, talk to that guy you like at school, at work, etc.


The magic is the FIRST STEP. Any step.


The rest will take its place after you realized you made the step! It is not about motivation, motivation won't fall from heaven nor another person can easily give it to you, it is only about you. You want something, you will achieve it if you decide so.
