How to incorporate daily habits to live a greater life
This may sound simple but believe me, it also is. You only need to follow a few steps.
Welcome to my august reading and take your time to be able to understand what I am talking about. Everything will be explained step by step from my experience.
What is a habit? Most importantly what is a good habit?
Well, the answer is easy. It is something you incorporated into your daily life and it is providing you with the results, either expected or unexpected. To have some good habits in your daily life you have to bring them into it and they are based on your consistent work.
The habits are something that we create in our childhood where the parental role plays an important function. As a young adult, you have a new chance to work on your daily habits which you can carry with you into your entire life.
Most of us create new or different patterns as we mature. And this is a very good thing because as our lives are changing by living so are the habits we create.
Good habits are everything, why?
I would not believe this until I wouldn't try it in my life and that is something I need to share with you, dear readers. Every human being is living daily life with some kind of habits which are either one from childhood or incorporated by work or family life. Sometimes we don't realize or think about if they are good or not or if they serve us as well as they could.
This is the point I would like to touch on in my article, many times we only live day by they without thinking if we live fully or not. The breaking point might be if we get exhausted, burned out, sick, if someone dies, etc. There are many occasions when people generally start to realise their lives in the smallest detail.
I had my deepest realization just two years when the world was shut down for the obvious reasons you already know about. It completely changed my life, my meaning of life and most of the habits I incorporated for my entire life because of a daily practice. So yes, it is not as long but it is long enough to be able to do my best for me. There are many speakers and mentors who like to talk about how long it takes to incorporate a new habit. Some of them say only 21 days but not more than 30 days! If this is not enough motivation for you, then nothing helps.
My start was simple, I DECIDED to do something more than I ever did before.
I educated myself daily, learned new every single day, moved my body every single day, I decluttered my place and my environment from unnecessary staff and relationships and I strongly put my focus on SELF LOVE and this included the package of the habits I never had. I put together this big package of daily habits and made it a rule to start my day. So I do and I am happy and proud and so you can do it too.
Starting a day fresh and happy is a sign, that you are doing well in your life. The feeling of the new should be the excitement and pleasure of being able to change anything you want. If you have this feeling, you are probably not following the next reading anymore. (Thanks if you will)
The willingness to change something must come first before you start.
You start now and with what you have as well as where you are. There is no tomorrow, there is only today and now. Write it down, if it is easier for you and make a list of old habits vs new habits. This is the best way how to check the progress visually. To me was a great choice to journal every single day to see the progress I have done. So you can do that too. I highly recommend buying some nice journal which will stay on your bedtable in case you will need to put your thoughts on paper.
Only one single new habit which you practice daily is a step to the better life.
Start today, you have nothing to lose, develop this new habit right now! How? Write it down! Make a list of what you would like to do and start from the first one, and repeat it every single day!
Keep in your mind that repetition and perseverance is the key to success, you can reward yourself after 1 month when you incorporated this new habit into your life. The difference it makes for your life, you will note very soon. I promise. There is nothing more than the best feeling about yourself after you passed the challenge you set up.
As long as you stay consistent, you are developing the willpower you will need later for adding some other habits. There is never enough of them as we learn and evolve because we have to do it to stay alive. Constant changes in the world, the uncertainty are the factors why you have to be resilient and do the best for yourself first. You are the most important person in your life then you can help others. I am encouraging you to stick to the first NEW GOOD habit you brought to your life because there it starts everything.
Life is beautiful and life is short but living fully every single day with doing the best you can and what you love makes you feel so good. Simplify your life but add quality to it.
Good habits are the key to happiness, fulfilment, joy, health and longevity and that is everything that matters!
Love to see you all here.
