How I created a healthy morning routine
The best tips and tricks on how to start your morning based on experience!
Why is it important to have a morning routine is a question you will probably ask after reading my title?
There are many reasons and long-term health benefits to start your day this way.
First of all, you should be thinking about your morning, how does your morning starts! It is not important when do you wake up but how you wake up. Do you have an early morning or late morning it all doesn't matter! What matters is what is the first thing you do after you wake up.
I will talk about myself if you allow me to do so. My mornings a long time ago started with checking my smartphone the private one as well as the company's one. Emails, messages, updates and I have done all of this straight away after I opened my eyes. Wrong! Very bad way to start the morning. I can tell you here and now this is the worst way possible to wake up.
My way to start the morning is this
With or without the alarm clock my morning starts with a deep breath and a big glass of water I always have next to my bed! Short gratitude thoughts like thank you for being alive and feeling, seeing this new day. After the bathroom routine, I made my hot lemon water with a pinch of Curcuma and cinnamon which awakes my digestion and this is followed by my yoga mat. Either I do my morning yoga or some other stretching exercises together with breathing exercises and a short meditation that express gratitude. This takes me about half an hour if I am really in a hurry, not more than 20 minutes but usually I do this even if I wake up very early.
Don't underestimate the mediation

I would not believe in the huge benefits of meditation if I would not start to feel them on myself. The best way to reduce anxiety and stress but prepare yourself for the day. This knowledge is one of the biggest ever which came into my daily life! Whether you choose a guided mediation or a silent one, it all matters. The power of meditation has incredible proven benefits for our brain and body as well the entire human life.
After my morning half an hour of being myself and taking care of myself, I usually have a very healthy breakfast which includes all the nutrition I will need for a couple of hours until my lunch. I am a huge fan of intermittent fasting, so I do the method 16:8, 16 hours of fasting, and 8 hours window of eating. I believe that our body needs the time and space to digest properly and get rid of the toxins from the previous food. The benefits of this routine are significant just after a short period and you will feel them.
Now I come back to the importance of having o healthy morning routine in your daily life. I will point some of the biggest benefits for you.
It will prepare you the best way possible for your day
It lovers your stress levels
Increase your productivity and creativity especially after you include the meditation
It will boost your energy levels
It will definitely improve your self-awareness and your relationships
Self - discipline
All of these and much more benefits you will see just after maybe 1 month of practicing your daily morning routine!
You don't need that much time as you think, it can only be like 15 minutes before your morning coffee or tea! The point is to have this time for yourself without your phone or partner or your child. There is a way you can include your kids too, you can meditate together or have a short breathing exercise in the kitchen, express gratitude, everything is possible.
Life is too short to not get the best of it for you, for your health, for your body and that's why you should start the next morning!
