Starting fresh: every morning
Which type of person describes you better the fresh morning feeling or tired and sleepy?
I believe that this would depend on how much you slept and how the sleep was. Sometimes the quantity of our sleep would not be the same as the quality.
I was dealing with insomnia for many years..

Of course, it is easier said as practiced but it is not something you cannot solve. I promise. I will tell you why! I suffered from insomnia for many years, maybe since middle school. I was never taking any medications or melatonin for making it easier. First, if I was younger I could let's say handle with lack of sleep better. But this is not a way how to think and the thinking changed as I realized how much I miss good quality sleep.
The time to start to take care of your good quality sleep would be now. I was waiting too long for not start to make the improvements. Of course, I tried sometimes to time like not eating too late or not watching TV before bed because of the blue light or having a bubble bath. This was not effective to me and I will tell you why! My body was tired, I was definitely physically tired but my mind was proceeding with all the daily information and sometimes my entire life just before bedtime! I can tell you- I FELT literally HORRIBLE.
Ways to Improve your sleep
I would like to introduce you to the methods I implemented into my life to improve the quality of sleep.
First of all, you have to realize that you really want to improve your sleep and your health is the first priority!
First what I did was that I stopped watching into PC or my mobile device without having blue light protection. It is not that difficult to make this step because of having possibilities to buy these glasses or turn on the screen protector but the best would be to switch off all the devices at least 1 hour before the bed.
Don't forget to turn the lights in your rooms too! I solved this issue with smaller lamps and candles with aromatic oil like lavender for example.
Think about your room temperature which should not be very high as you know, this is an important fact open your windows and let the oxygen coming inside.
Stick to the fact, not to overeat as I mentioned in my previous post.
Maybe you just will try to have a very easy dinner before your bedtime.
The next but essential to me was the power of disconnecting my mind and this I achieved with meditation before sleep! There are many available methods and apps on how to find the one which you prefer.
Make sure you get enough exercise during the day because this is something crucial to have a good feeling also with your physical body.
Burn some light-scented candles and pillow sprays, this will really improve the process of falling asleep easier.
Make sure your bed has a comfortable mattress and sheets are clean and not very scented.
The importance of hugs, kisses, and sex is huge but if you are living single, you can always have some nice helpers to create a nice pre-bedtime atmosphere.
Don't underestimate the quality of your sleep

I believe I could bring some techniques for you which were really helpful to me. I noticed the changes in myself after so many years of not having a good night routine. After I started to implement all ways possible to finally get the sleep, I am happier, healthier, and less stressed.
