When is the right time to reflect and slow down?

The time is now and here! We are heading to the most beautiful time of the year. So take a minute and a deep breath.

In this pre X - mas blog post I would like to talk about the importance of self-reflection and taking time to slow down. What does it mean to slow down is perfectly clear to you but are you doing so?


If not now then when?


My all-time favourite quote which I use on every occasion to make a decision faster to make the decision process more effective.


Our life requires changes and decisions to be made daily, some of them are small some of them are bigger. It all depends on your perception. That is why slowing down is so important. Making the right decisions mean that you have to make it clear first in your head.


The first step after you read this would be to sit down in a quiet place if possible alone and start to take a few deep breaths. You can also count backwards to make your breathing slowlier and deeper. Ways like burning a scented candle or listening to meditation music it is all up to you. All these methods are here for you and free!


You will be surprised how these steps help you to concentrate and focus more on what you need. It can be 10 minutes but more is better in this case. I recommend writing it down, all your new thoughts and ideas to keep them visible for you any time you need.


The next thing would be only switched off by doing some creative activity like cooking, baking, even playing but also taking a nice book and reading it. To me works but even better would be going for sports outside or to a gym.


Each of these methods will help you to create mental health and clear focus in your brain. I definitely don't recommend drinking alcohol or watching TV. This is the worst way you could possibly ever choose. Only weak people do this and this blog post is based on my experience so I am sharing the most effective way to move forward with your life and mental health!


The change starts in your head, in your vision but followed by your actions.

Moments of taking reflection are very important, you can certainly help to find new paths for your future as well create new healthy relationships with people. That is the life you want.



Take your moment now!

Don't postpone anything for later. The point is to decide to do it and stick to it always. We are here now and in this particular moment of our life so why wait? There is no better moment nor occasion to do something.


The way how I do things is very easy. It can be for you too if you want. If I am not in a mood, well I think I am not in a mood, I convince my brain - my thinking to do it without questioning something. And it works totally! This method you can implement in your life too and the rewards are sweet. Creating the YOU MOMENT is vital to keep us alive and healthy.


As I like to say and do, success comes from stepping out of your comfort zone!


Our acts are only reflections of our thoughts. And the thoughts you can manage because you are the one who creates them. Be a strong person with strong actions and be proud of yourself as a result of your actions. You will love life much more and life will love you back.


Reflect, breathe, think of yourself first and then your loved ones. You give the best you to them and that is the way how you learned to love yourself!
